Soya Malted Milk

Being a great fan of soya milk and having drunk it for years, I like to make this malted soya milk drink when I am after a quick, light yet satisfying breakfast drink or a ‘pick me up’ during a tiring day. Dairy free.

Naturally, this drink can also be made with Almond milk, Oat milk and any NON dairy milk alternative found now a days on sale in all our supermarkets and hypermarkets.

Ingredients

  • Large glass of your favourite soya milk
    - chilled
  • 2 tsp barley malt extract
  • 1 x tbsp porride oats
    - organic
  • Runny honey to sweeten

Instructions

  • 01 In an electric blender add soya milk, barley malt extract and porridge oats.
  • 02 Add honey to sweeten
  • 03 Blend well and serve.

Notes

It is possible to have this hot or cold. The consistency is of a thick milkshake but do add extra liquid if too thick. Add a banana for extra nutrition and yummy flavour.
