Yoghurt Smoothie

All natural healthy smoothie drinks are just a great way to start the day, or act as a healthy anytime ‘pick me up’. Full of natural goodness, fruit and fibre. If looking for a non-dairy alternative then please substitute the dairy yoghurt with coconut, soya or almond, which are all easily acquired now a days from our local supermarkets and hypermarket stores.

The juice part of the recipe can be the real thing if you happen to have a special machine for ‘natural juices’ but if not commercially prepared juice will work BUT PLEASE be careful, and look for non or low sugar content as they do spike up the commercially prepared juices with lots of extra sugar in order to make them last.

Notes

Using frozen fruits is a great way to chill without adding ice cubes, and always make sure you use ripe fruits for optimum flavour. Please note if using commercial brand juices opt for natural with no additives or extra sugar.
