Forest Fruits Chia Jam
Forest fruits chia jam is made from a bag of frozen soft fruits, sweetened with honey and mixed with Chia seeds and lemon juice. So simple and so versatile. Delicious on yoghurt, toast or crackers. With the addition of Chia seeds, this simple jam now offers a range of extra health benefits; from improved digestion to heart, body health and quality digestive support.

Ingredients

400g bag fruits of the forest- frozen

1 large lemon- juice only

1-2 tbsp honey- runny

1-2 dessertspoon Chia seeds
Instructions

01 On a medium heat tip all the frozen fruits into a large pan. Add all the other ingredients. As they thaw with a wooden spoon mix well. Raise the stove heat until all are gently simmering and cook for 5 minutes.

02 Remove from the heat and when cool, spoon into a glass jar with a sealed lid. Keep in a cool place until required.
Notes
Add more honey if jam not sweet enough for your tastebuds. Forest fruits are usually blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, red currants and a few pomegranate seeds. If you are unable to source these just use a bag of frozen mixed soft fruits.
