Recipe

Are you looking for an alternative to the commercial crisp? Then please try my Pitta (flatbread) Dunkers. These delicious toasted bread dunkers are very popular in my family either on their own or used as a scoop for a yummy dip. So easy to make and the recipe is very flexible. Just add oil and seasonings to your liking.

Enjoy.

Notes

I always use commercially prepared pitta bread as it makes this recipe easier and quicker to make. I do not give exact quantities for this recipe as its all about mixing the oil and flavorings as you wish. I really love these dunkers when drenched in olive oil but for the healthier bite go lightly with the oil and enjoy more as a toasted bread rather than deep fried toast.
